Business-Education Collaborative Summits to convene in 4 cities
America’s Promise Alliance will host a series of Business-Education Collaborative Summits, bringing together local and national business, education, nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to learn about the latest data on the economic impact of the high school dropout crisis and how they can work together more effectively to improve schools and communities.
The first summit will be held in Charlotte, NC on June 11-12 with three others in Boston, MA on September 13-14; Denver, CO on December 3-4 and Los Angeles, CA in January 2013. They are sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, State Farm® and Target.
